Magnetic Therapy for Spondylosis

Osteoarthritis manifest itself in various forms. Another crippling form is Spondylosis.

Spondylosis is also known as Spinal Osteoarthritis. Like all forms of Osteoarthritis, Spondylosis causes the loss of normal spinal structure and function. It impacts the thoracic, cervical and lumbar regions of the spine affecting the inter-vertebral discs and facet joints.

There are two types of Spondylosis – Lumbar Spondylosis and Cervical Spondylosis. Any type of narrowing of the spinal canal is Lumbar Spondylosis. While degeneration of the cervical spine narrowing spinal canal producing compression of the spinal cord and nerve roots.

The narrowing of the spinal canal or Spinal Stenosis in Spondylosis can exert pressure against the spinal cord and its blood vessels. This chokes off the required nutrients to spinal cord cells. This leads the cells to starve to death.

The death of these cells impairs theirs functions like conveying sensory information to the brain and transmitting the brain’s signals to the voluntary muscles.

Spondolysis can be easily cured by Magnetic Therapy. All you need to do is to place magnets at the areas damaged by Spondylosis. This will reduce pressure on the nerves and speed up the healing process in the muscle.

You can wear a high strength magnetic necklace around your neck. The strength could be anywhere between 2500-3000 gauss. This treats the effects of Spondolysis in the neck, shoulders, head and arms.

Magnetic Pillow or Magnetic Pad is another alternative available if you are not too fond of necklaces. You can sleep over the magnetic pillow/pad at night. The magnetic field is said to penetrate your body at its peak when you are fast asleep.
