The Human Brain contains millions of cells called Neurons. The Neurons have a component called receptors in them. Electrical Signals are generated by the Neurons. The receptors of one neuron catch the electrical signal of other neuron. In this way, cells communicate. This is also the mechanism by which the brain functions and carries out the functions of the whole body.

What is Long-term Potentiation?

Health Problems associated with damaged Long-term Potentiation: When the transfer of signals on sustained basis is effected, there can be several neurological diseases. They are Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, Depression, Drug addiction, Epilepsy, and Neuropathic pain. Further Studies are required to understand the connection between this ability of the neurons and its effect on the diseases.

I am finding more references lately to Pulsed Magnetic Therapy without any reference to what it is or original studies.
I know that studies were done on pulsed electromagnetic fields transcription for depression.
Though well written and illustrated it falls short as a reference.
